Agents of SHIELD season 6 has introduced a new set of villains who use tech with a distinctly magical flavor, reminiscent of Doctor Strange’s magic. Currently, Agents of SHIELD’s narrative is structured into two distinct stories: a team on Earth investigating the arrival of a man who looks exactly like Phil Coulson, and a team in space attempting to locate and rescue Fitz, who placed himself into a cryogenic freeze back in season 5....

Disney is moving forward with Aladdin 2, a sequel to last year’s live-action remake and has hired a pair of writers to pen a script that is an original story and not based on any of the animated sequels. Remaking their animated classics has become one of Disney’s latest avenues for success with Aladdin’s $1 billion worldwide gross the latest success story. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie and starred Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, and Will Smith as Genie....

Despite the eye-popping figures spent on the shopping holiday, it represented a year over year decrease of 1.4%. According to Adobe’s data, during the peak shopping hour of 11pm-12am ET/8pm-9pm PT, US consumers spent $12 million every minute. Adobe’s researchers found that $33.9 billion was spent from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday. The numbers from the high shopping days – now dubbed Cyber Week – were also down 1.4% due to decreases in spending on Black Friday and the same amount of spending on Thanksgiving Day compared to 2020....

A solid dramatization of real world events, Adrift is nevertheless more compelling as a grisly survival drama than a love story. Based somewhat loosely on real world events, Adrift finds director Baltasar Kormákur operating in what’s clearly comfortable territory for him. In addition to crime films of both the serious (Contraband) and comedic variety (2 Guns), Kormákur has gravitated towards similarly true story-inspired man vs. nature adventures in the past; namely, Everest 3D and Icelandic drama The Deep....

Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has a healthy mix of characters originally created for the screen and characters adapted from comics. Phil Coulson, for example, was created for the movies of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before spinning out into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and appearing in comics. Though Skye appeared to be an original screen character, she was actually an adaptation of Marvel comics’ Daisy Johnson. Agents May, Ward, Fitz, and Simmons debuted in the pilot episode as creations for the show, but all made their way into comics....

When ABC’s flagship Marvel TV series entered its fifth season and the cast whittled down to the current core group of Coulson (Clark Gregg), Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), Alphonso “Mack” Mackenzie (Henry Simmons), Yo-Yo Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley), Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), Leo Fitz (Iain de Caestecker), and Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), most of them began to pair up romantically....

Then pop music plays for a long sequence from the perspective of the mysterious bald man in the suit who apprehends Coulson and the team. It’s a flashback to before the arrest. He’s seemingly enjoying “normal” life, swimming in a pool, taking some strange beverage from his fridge (the fridge is packed with tons of bottles of that one thing so we know he’s probably not a human) - there are crayon drawings stuck to the fridge, then we see him take clothes off for a shower, and as the clothes get thrown onto a bench, the last piece is the human skin suit....

A number of reviewers and early users say you should definitely expect to see AirTag scratches, even if you are careful with them. Both the metal and plastic sides show scratches and other marks, show photos … Reviewers were generally very impressed. But there was one small issue. The shiny stainless steel surface of the AirTag certainly looks beautiful when it first arrives, but as we noted yesterday, that may not last for long....

The biggest question left at the end of season 3 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was who the director of the organization is and why Coulson had been replaced. After talking to several users of iOS 4.2 GM and Mac OS X 10.6.5 (public release) it appears that AirPrint functionality does not work. The printing option is definitely still present on the iOS software but it doesn’t actually print what you are telling it to print. On the other hand, it appears that AirPrint is working for users with the iOS 4.2 GM whom have upgraded to Mac OS X 10....

Firmware update 7.8 for the latest AirPort Express hardware (2012 2nd-gen model, no longer sold) adds support for AirPlay 2 and Apple’s Home app. The teaser for support has been present since iOS 11.4 beta, but support hasn’t been live before today’s version 7.8 firmware update.
