Adobe today announced its Digital Publishing Suite will get support for iOS 5 Newsstand, making it easy for publishers to create digital magazines and newspaper applications that take advantage of iOS 5 which automatically downloads the newest issues distributed through the Newsstand section on iTunes. Adobe is announcing updates to several Creative Cloud desktop and mobile applications this morning. The changes are designed to speed up the editing process and to make working between applications across various platforms more seamless. Adobe XD has stolen the Creative Cloud spotlight this year with frequent updates and a design fund initially targeted at the app’s audience. Identifying what works and what doesn’t in Age of Wonders: Planetfall is difficult to do based a brief gameplay demo, but from what we got to try at E3 2019, it seems the latest installment in the Age of Wonders series is on the right path. But don’t mistake this game for Age of Wonders IV, as it has more in common with a spinoff title than a full-fledged sequel. It’s a great thing, though, as Age of Wonders: Planetfall’s sci-fi setting is just what the series needs....

The second half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3 was centered for the most part on the resurrected Grant Ward, following his dead body becoming host to the Inhuman known as Hive. Given that ABC already had Brett Dalton in place as Ward, it makes sense that the Hive’s true from wasn’t part of the weekly adventures of Agent Coulson and his team. And, from a purely budgetary standpoint, it makes sense to eventually phase out what little makeup was put on Dalton to give him that slightly zombified look and to pull out all the stops with an emaciated chest piece just in case anyone thought he might get better....
