20th Century Fox releases the Ad Astra IMAX trailer. Directed by James Gray, the science fiction adventure film stars Brad Pitt. Previous Ad Astra trailers were released in June and July ahead of the movie’s September release date. In Ad Astra, Pitt portrays Major Roy McBride, the son of missing astronaut Clifford McBride (Tommy Lee Jones), a space explorer pioneer. When the elder McBride goes missing 16 years into a mission, his well-trained son is tasked with not only locating him, but finding out the truth about a mystery that could end life on Earth....

Former America’s Got Talent judge, Julianne Hough denies reports that crew members criticized her look. Hough may be looking to distance herself from the controversy raised by the firing of her fellow judge, Gabrielle Union. The alleged comments about Hough’s hair and makeup were made by America’s Got Talent staffers and were said to have negatively impacted her morale. In 2016, she spoke about the frustrations she suffered from being criticized for her looks, as well as the eating disorder, anxiety, and depression she endured as a professional ballroom dancer....

Airbnb and ClassPass have found themselves in an interesting dispute with Apple, as they adapt their business models in response to the coronavirus crisis. Adam Sandler’s latest offering, Sandy Wexler, hit Netflix this month, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be the film that brings the comedian back into favor with critics. A ’90s rom-com about a talent manager and his stable of eccentric clients, the film does significantly better than its predecessors (The Ridiculous Six and The Do-Over), but still only manages to scrape a 33 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. That this is a vast improvement on his other recent efforts is certainly saying something about the current critical opinion of the man who was once a true darling of the big screen....

Classic Marvel monster Werewolf by Night is getting a full moon make-over, including a variant cover by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki. The comic book will introduce a brand new Werewolf by Night written by Taboo and Ben Jackendoff, with art by Scott Eaton, with the familiar story of a young man struggling with a family curse.
