Adele’s people have already tried to get her new blockbuster album, 25, into Apple Store retail shelves as physical CD volumes with no success, but she isn’t so keen on Apple Music streaming. According to the New York Times, Adele’s management has informed digital music distributors that 25 will not be offered for streaming, at least at launch. You can of course buy the album on the iTunes Store; preorders are up now....

A few years ago I replaced my 2005 Honda Civic from high school with a 2017 model. The car itself felt twelve years newer in every way but one. My old car stereo was replaced with an aftermarket Wireless CarPlay head unit. The tenth generation Honda Civic included standard CarPlay, and I wasn’t interested in replacing the stock entertainment system in a brand new car. Adobe took the wraps off its new Edge suite of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 tools today at its Create the Web event in San Francisco. With a sparsity of new information coming from Microsoft and Relic Entertainment over the past several months, real-time strategy fans have been left to wonder whether Age of Empires IV will ever see the light of day as the next main-line title in the highly touted historical strategy sim series. As it stands now, though, Microsoft looks to be fully invested in the franchise and pleased with Relic’s development progress. We still don’t have a firm release date for Age of Empires IV, however....

Adobe has published an update for its mobile photo editing app, Photoshop Express, bringing the version up to 3.3. The update includes a redesigned interface to match iOS 7’s look along with a handful of new features. Feature-wise, the update adds a ‘green eye’ correction filter, an auto-save feature, improved tool tips, a better photo picker, and new sharing options for Instagram and SMS. Audio enthusiasts who prefer to listen to music on their existing speakers have been waiting for some time to see AirPlay 2 cracked, and that day has now arrived. Three developers who have been working on the problem for some time say they have now done it… The original announcement was made in a Slack group, and then posted to GitHub. Apple uses a proprietary streaming protocol which means only speakers that have licensed the tech from Apple can receive and decode the audio....
