Comedian Adam Sandler and Phantom Thread auteur Paul Thomas Anderson have reunited to work on Sandler’s new comedy special for Netflix. A few years ago when Netflix began pivoting from delivering other people’s content to producing their own, one of the first big stars they signed to a deal was Adam Sandler. Since then, Sandler has churned out several surprisingly successful comedy movies for the streaming service. This month Sandler serves up his latest movie The Week Of, co-starring his old pal Chris Rock....
Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen has confirmed his company is now working with Apple with a view to offering Flash support on the iPhone. The move follows Apple’s release of the iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK). Narayen, who was speaking during the company’s conference call with Adobe investors last night, confirmed the company plans to create Flash player for the iPhone as an application which will be distributed through the App Store to iPhone users....
Adobe announced today that it plans to discontinue its Photoshop Touch software for iPhone and iPad as it changes its approach to bringing features from its professional desktop application to mobile platforms. Rather than continuing to develop an all-in-one app that tries to recreate the Photoshop desktop experience on smartphones and tablets, Adobe is fully embracing its recent strategy of releasing multiple apps that each perform specific functions well. Adobe announced the September update to its Adobe Experience Design CC software today with support for real time design and prototype testing on iOS and Android devices. The update includes a a few other changes, but Adobe’s inclusion for real time previewing fills a large gap it was missing when compared to its competitors. To showcase the power of modern prototyping tools and celebrate the advancement of VFX creation in film, Adobe has partnered with design studio Territory to remake two classic movie shots and provide designers with the assets for their own inspiration. Territory Studio has worked on films like Avengers: Infinity War, Ready Player One, and Blade Runner 2049, designing futuristic graphics and visuals effects. To put Adobe XD to the test, Adobe challenged Territory to completely reimagine two classic shots from the 1991 film Terminator 2 with modern design concepts in mind....

The latest episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 6, “Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson,” saw Simmons come within a hair’s breadth of reuniting with her beloved Fitz - and raised several questions about some brand new villains.
