It was a tremendous victory, achieved because the episode gave Daisy a significant power-up. S.H.I.E.L.D.’s fifth season saw the showrunners toying with the audience’s expectations. Time and again they dropped hints and clues, only to pivot away from them. Will Daisy become the Destroyer of Worlds, or will Ruby? In the end, neither was; the real Destroyer of Worlds was actually General Talbot, a twist that slipped under everybody’s radar even though he started dressing in blue and bearing a Graviton beard well before he was exposed to Gravitonium....

Airbnb today has announced that its new split payment feature that was first piloted this past summer is now rolling out globally. Airbnb shared in a press release that split payments was one of the top requested features after founder and CEO Brian Chesky asked for feedback on Twitter last year. The company’s research also found that group travel was popular. Airbnb had a successful pilot of the feature with over 80,000 groups in 175 countries, using over 44 currencies and now the feature is rolling out to all users....

Actress and writer Adepero Oduye is now joining the cast of the upcoming series Five Days at Memorial, which is being produced by Apple TV+. The news was confirmed on Thursday in a report by Variety. Apple announced the limited series Five Days at Memorial last September, which is based on the nonfiction book of the same name by author and journalist Sheri Fink. The novel chronicles the first five days in a New Orleans hospital after the events of Hurricane Katrina....

Apple’s built-in Camera app doesn’t allow you to shoot in raw even as an option, but iOS 10 makes it possible for third-party apps that want the option....

Following Apple’s decision to make the Apple Watch available for sale in Best Buy in the U.S. and Canada, it has been making a similar move in other countries. It is already available through select branches of the Australian department store chain MYER, and iPhone Addict reports that it will go on sale through French electronics retailer FNAC as of tomorrow. Wireless charging startup Aira has acquired patents from rival Spansive as it seeks to do what Apple couldn’t with AirPower: Create wireless charging mats that allow you to place devices anywhere on their surface. Apple unveiled on Tuesday its AirTag smart tracker. Designed to be “privacy-first” and “stalker-proof,” two Apple executives shared more info about the AirTag with Fast Company. Adobe has released the first preview version of its new Experience Design CC app for creating and testing interactive design prototypes. The latest Creative Cloud tool was first announced last October at Adobe’s Max Creative Conference under the name Project Comet. As Experience Design is currently in preview, Adobe is letting anyone with a free Adobe ID try the new tool and provide feedback ahead of its commercial release. Adobe says Experience Design (XD) will enable designers to quickly prototype and test mobile app and web designs using the Creative Cloud suite of tools....
