You could win the chance to visit the Agents of SHIELD cast on the set of season 7, with all competition proceeds going towards Lupus Foundation of America. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s longest-running television export is currently gearing up for its sixth season, due for release later this year, and the show will no doubt have plenty of surprises in store for fans, as the SHIELD gang find themselves confronted with an alternate version of Coulson. Season 6 will also find the team searching for poor Leo Fitz, who died in season 5 but is simultaneously also in a cryogenic state somewhere in space because of SHIELD’s time travel shenanigans.
Lupus is a long-term condition that causes inflammation to joints, skin and organs and although there is no cure, symptoms can be managed with a variety of treatments to help sufferers live with the disease. Lupus can range dramatically in severity, resulting in joint pain and extreme tiredness but, in some cases, can even prove to be life-threatening. Since forming over 40 years ago, the Lupus Foundation of America has sought to further research into the condition, while also offering education and support to those who live with it.
Now Agents of SHIELD co-creator and showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen is offering fans a chance to win a visit to the set of the show’s seventh season and meet the main cast, including Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson), Chloe Bennet (Quake) and Ming-Na Wen (Melinda May). Travel and accommodation are all included in the package and the prize winner can take a friend along for the ride. All SHIELD fans need to do to be in with a shout of winning is make a minimum $10 donation to Lupus Foundation of America by visiting Prizeo.
Even though Agents of SHIELD season six has yet to premiere, this competition seems to confirm previous hints and reports that season 7 was already in production and Clark Gregg has also suggested that this will likely be the show’s final run. With this in mind, the prize on offer in this contest perhaps becomes even more tempting, offering fans the opportunity to see the set of SHIELD’s last chapter and hang out with the cast before the series comes to an end and the actors part ways. By all accounts, Gregg and co. are some of the most personable and friendly types in the business and with all proceeds going to a good cause, this sounds like a win for all concerned.
Until confirmed otherwise, there is a chance that Agents of SHIELD could continue beyond season 7. With Coulson’s recent appearance on the big screen in Captain Marvel and the fall of Netflix’s MCU output, SHIELD could be in line for a ratings boost in season 6, which may encourage ABC to extend the series for a few more years.
